Romans 12:3-5
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Knowing God’s work in us to conform us to Christ, knowing His mercy and grace in our yielding and serving with obedience as pleasing children - so we are humbled with these sobering realities. All faith we have is dealt out by God to us, it is nothing we can conjure up or strive to create. Therefore, we look at the body of Christ, the church, with each of us in our roles within it. We are together in Him, so we ought to humbly work together as He gives the desires and abilities to do so. We belong to Him and so to each other for His glory. One is not more important nor glorious than another when He is all and is alone due all glory and praise.
