Luke 24:25-27
25 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
Two men walking along the road tried to make sense of Jesus' life, death, and seeming resurrection, but could not quite see it. So Jesus told them they were already told in the Old Testament that had to so suffer and die to glorify God. He explained it all from Moses and the Prophets, the Scriptures, how the Christ was to com and do all these as God planned. So we need to search the Scriptures daily to see the things that are so, and to know more of God's sovereignty and purpose for us.
