Luke 23:50-52
50 Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. 51 He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. 52 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.
Not all wanted Jesus dead; this good and just man did not go along with the decision to kill Jesus. He did not think it blasphemy that Jesus said He was God's Son. So he acted on that and asked for Jesus' body to bury it at great expense. He did what was right in open disagreement with injustice. So should we do right, standing for Him and others.
