Luke 22:63-65
63 Now the men who held Jesus mocked Him and beat Him. 64 And having blindfolded Him, they struck Him on the face and asked Him, saying, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck You?” 65 And many other things they blasphemously spoke against Him.
Christ gave us an example as He uniquely suffered and died for all who are His; so we can learn from the mocking and demanding of some who do not so much look for proof of truth as attempting to prove not to believe Him. The blasphemous words against God are ones we still hear as fearful men try to deny their accountability and ignore just judgment.m but in so doing they miss mercy and forgiving grace that comes only by His work and words...
