Luke 22:35
And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.”
When Jesus sends us out, He provides all we need. This is true for all who labor in the gospel. He goes on in the following verses to say the disciples should take what they need when they will be scattered as He is delivered up to be put to death. So we must be aware to take what we need - but we still rely on His provision.
