Luke 16:16
“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it."
People are being urged to press into the kingdom since the gospel of repentance and faith has begun to be been told, starting with John he Baptist, then Jesus himself, then the apostles - and now witnessed to and told by we who are made new. The kingdom of God is a new birth, a transformed soul, a belonging to God in Christ (not human institutions), and a certain hope from now into and beyond death forever. That reconciliation with God our Lord and King brings us into His kingdom. That is good news to urge others to press into.
