Luke 17:5-6
5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” 6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
We ask for more faith, but do we exercise the faith we already possess? And do we see that the smallest bit of trust is not in our ability, wisdom, or strength but in God who enables and wills what is to be done? Faith is not to give us power or put on a show of miracles - faith is trusting in the faithful, willing, and able God who glorifies and exalts Himself in answering our absolute believing trust absolutely. Faith is the solid reality in what we cannot see or touch.
