Luke 13:20-21
20 And again He said, “To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? 21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”
The already and the not yet - the kingdom grows within us as yeast fills dough and it rises to become more what it started as. Yet the kingdom is not yet fully come until Jesus returns, completes judgement, and restores all things. So we leaven ourselves and each other as we grow as a body closer to that day, hopeful of the softening for hearts hardened by sin so we learn love in truth.
