Mark 15:40-41
40 There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome, 41 who also followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.
We often think of the twelve men who followed Jesus, His disciples and apostles, but here is a reminder that many women also were His followers. They not only ministered to Jesus, they were His disciples also. The same is true today - this is a reminder that we are all one in Christ.
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
