Tell that He is Risen!

Mark 16:6-11   
6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” ... 10 She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. 11 And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

Peter who doubted was brought up separately by name to tell that Jesus was risen from death to life.  He had denied the Lord, but loved Him much as well, so was personally to be reassured.  Jesus was coming to meet them!  But they did not believe the news in their grief and loss.  Not yet.  Not until they saw Him with their own eyes.  Ah, but we now see Him with eyes of trust in His word - with eyes of faith as God opens them to be able to see.
