Luke 1:50-53
50 And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation. 51 He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly. 53 He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.
God shows infinite mercy in Jesus Christ to us. He has all power, wisdom, and mercy - He puts the proud down who imagine they can do anything without Him or in their own imagined power and wisdom. He rules absolutely, yet shows unmerited mercy and goodness to we who deserve only what sin brings in rebellion to Him. He satiates our hunger and gives good gifts forever to those who love, fear, and follow Him with absolute trust in His work through His Son for us.
