Come Aside and Rest a While

Mark 6:30-32
30 Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught. 31 And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. 32 So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

When we serve God and teach others we must be joyful and satisfied in the work, but there is a need to also find rest and take time with Him alone as well.  They were so busy hat they did not even eat!  Jesus taught His followers this crucial principle of time to rest here as they went with Him after being sent out, carrying nothing but good news.  So we must be about our Father's business, but take time alone with Him each day as well.
