Offended, Betraying, and Hateful

Matthew 24:7-10
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.  9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

With increased war, hunger, disease, and natural disasters like earthquakes, it appears that the end and beginning are coming closer each day.  Yet this is only the beginning.  There will be more persecution even to death, with offense leading to betrayal and hate from those we least expect it as the sword comes even between family members.  We must not let love grow cold, but hold on until the end with hopeful eyes set on the Author and Finisher of our faith.
