Smallest Seed of Faith

Matthew 13:31-32
31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”

God's kingdom begins with the smallest seed of realization of His reconciling grace shown in mercy by Jesus' suffering, death, and resurrection. That faith, when rooted deep in Him by His word, fills the life as it grows until the Kingdom is seen on earth within His people. Then there is refuge for others to nest in as well by His word in that tree of life passed on as disciples are made. All this is from the seemingly smallest of seeds given as the greatest gift from above.
