Matthew 10:32-33
32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.
We must openly acknowledge Jesus Christ as God's Son and savior to others, no matter the reaction or consequence. Denying is rejecting by definition and by result. Do we want to face God at time's end in shame or in joy of honoring and magnifying our creator and majestic Lord? To count any suffering here as joy in this light of eternity and sovereignty is essential.
