When Jesus changes a man, that one becomes fruitful, no longer practicing unrighteousness as a way of life, but seeking to do what is right from the inside spirit of the renewed man (though stumbling often as well). We are known by our inward borne fruits, not by outward suits of works covering unregenerate hearts if we are truly His, reborn out of sincere repentance and living, active faith in Jesus for our righteousness.
As I put Christ first each day, this blog stores my quiet time journals while I read through the Bible slowly and thoughtfully. Like Peter, I aim to "rise, kill, eat," as I wake up and make God's word the first thing before breakfast, getting spiritual nourishment first.
