Jesus did all that was required by the law to be blameless, obedient to the Father, and then shown to be aligned with God the Spirit. This parallels us as believers in a sense, in that we must (after repenting), obey to please Him as we have been reborn to have His Spirit fill us out as we walk with Him. Jesus was well pleasing to the Father. We should be as well.
As I put Christ first each day, this blog stores my quiet time journals while I read through the Bible slowly and thoughtfully. Like Peter, I aim to "rise, kill, eat," as I wake up and make God's word the first thing before breakfast, getting spiritual nourishment first.

Blameless and Obedient
Matthew 3:15-17
Jesus did all that was required by the law to be blameless, obedient to the Father, and then shown to be aligned with God the Spirit. This parallels us as believers in a sense, in that we must (after repenting), obey to please Him as we have been reborn to have His Spirit fill us out as we walk with Him.
