Great Grace on Believers

Acts 4:32-33
32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

When God first brought together the church, they shared what they had to make certain that everyone had what they needed.  This was because of their unity in Christ that they never knew before, transforming their hearts' desires from self to God and others to fulfill the two greatest commandments. Their witness to the resurrection of Jesus driven by God's Spirit now living in them was compelling to others and demonstrated His grace in their new lives. Christ was their unity, not their religion or nationality.
