Luke 21:22-24
22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Jerusalem was warned before its destruction and scattering of its people because of judgment on their sin; so now we are all warned of the end of time for the same. The times of nations allow the gospel to reach the end of the earth so all may hear and many come to the God of Abraham, who was promised to be he father of nations to bless the world. Israel came back to Jerusalem and so we should be aware of sin, righteousness, and judgment to come in being witnesses to God's work in Christ.
