Luke 18:16-17
16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Was Jesus speaking of little children coming to Him, or was it more? He explains that it is we who must come by faith, trusting and willing to hear Him as a little one hangs on our every word as reliable and authoritative. We enter this kingdom by trusting what He said and who He said He is - Jesus the Son of God, God in flesh, salvation of grace by faith alone in Christ alone. There is no other way or name or truth but Him to find life forever forgiven to be in His presence, the kingdom.
