Mark 14:21
The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.”
Judas is known for betraying Jesus for a handful of silver, and it was told ahead of time by God that it would happen. It really would have been better if he never was born, but the same can be said of any who deny the gospel and turn their back on Jesus Christ. For being so born to die and suffer forever is the price of rejection; so we must use every opportunity to bear witness to who Jesus is and what He has done. Who knows what new birth will make the old of value?
