Forgive, Then Pray

Mark 11:25-26.
25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

We should by faith expect prayer to be answered as it aligns with God's will, but if we are not also striving to be right with others, we should stop and get that right. We are not forgiven if we do not forgive, and that should motivate us to be right with man to be right with God when we pray.  This also means when others have something against us and we need their forgiveness, as we are told in other verses.
