Mark 1:21-22, 27
21 Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught. 22 And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 27 Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”
Jesus Christ has all authority - to rule, to teach truth, to heal, and even to change the laws of nature because it is all held together by Him. But the greatest is to change our souls to seek Him and then change us inside forever. He cured diseases, cast out demons, and walked on water with this authority - and by that same authority has the power and right to send us into the world in His place to make disciples as He did.
