Deaf Hear and Mute Speak!

Mark 7:35-37
35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. 36 Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. 37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

When Jesus touches a man, though God Himself tells him to say nothing to anyone, the joy of knowing the One who changed your life cannot but be widely proclaimed.  Jesus not only made sick and possessed well, He changes us on the inside to overflow with thanksgiving and joy in the freedom we have gained in Christ.  We are ourselves astonished, and so tell others of being made well inside and out.
