Matthew 21:9-11
9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” 10 And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?” 11 So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”
Many praise Jesus Christ without knowing who He really is; He is so much more than a prophet from Galilee, as He is God among us, our savior from God's justice on our sin. Ah, but knowing who He is should drive us all the more to cry out praise to the Coming One, Emmanuel. He came in His name, and no man claiming to be or even actually a prophet is to be so worshipped!
