Once again, those who are reborn, reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, set apart for God now (saints) - these know peace inside and His unmerited, unearned favor called grace. Saints are not determined, elected, or sponsored by any man or church, but by God Himself due to calling them out of sin, death, and Hell. We are set aside for Him by Him.
Philippians 1:1-2
1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ,
To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
