Jude 1:24-25
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.
Our Lord and Savior reigns over all things, and is more than able to keep His people whom He calls out of the darkness of sin and judgement into His marvelous light of peaceful righteousness and reconciliation in Christ. Therefore He can keep us from stumbling when faced with the deception of false teachers and the allure of the passing pleasures of sin (Hebrews 11:25). Because we are held within Christ’s righteousness by His blood sacrifice of Himself, we are seen as faultless standing before His throne. We will stand with our sins washed white (Isaiah 1:18, 43:25, Psalm 51:7) in His presence and experience the unbounded joy of our full redemption and incorruptible new nature in eternity. This is why we praise and glorify our great God and Savior by expressing our awe and wonder of His nature in our songs, hymns, and spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16). He is the only one with wisdom, the only one worthy of glory in His sovereign majesty, the good and absolute ruler of the universe with the power to create and hold all things together (Colossians 1:17) by His Word and will, now and for eternity. He is the one who is, and nothing can ever undo what He does (Isaiah 43:13). These things are so and will always be so (Amen), so we rest in His grace that keeps us safe and eternally secure in Christ. Amen and amen!
